Root Canal Therapy<\/b>\/ Procedure <\/b>is performed to save a tooth when its pulp<\/b> becomes infected or inflamed. (Under the tough, protective enamel<\/b>, and the main portion, dentin<\/b>, lies an area, consisting of blood vessels and soft, connective tissue. This is known as dental pulp<\/b>.) Reasons for infected nerves and pulp may vary. Deep tooth decay, repeated procedures by your dentist, and faulty caps\/ crowns are some of them. During the root canal treatment, the infected pulp is removed and the inside of the tooth is cleaned & disinfected.<\/p>\r\n
